Image Quality & Format Guidelines for Customized Designs

To get the best printed result, please prepare your design according to the guidelines below before uploading.

Accepted File Formats

• PNG (recommended — supports transparent backgrounds)
• JPG / JPEG
• Maximum file size: 【10 MB】

Resolution Requirements

• Minimum: 1000 × 1000 pixels / 2MB
• Recommended: 2000 × 2000 pixels or higher for the sharpest result
• Images taken from social media or messaging apps are often compressed and may print blurry — upload the original file whenever possible.
• Enlarging a small image does not add detail. If your file is below the minimum, the print may appear pixelated, and this is not considered a printing defect.

Text in Your Design

• Keep text large and bold. Very small or thin text may not reproduce clearly on textured surfaces such as PVC or PU leather.
• Recommended minimum text height:  5mm at actual print size.
• The anti-loss tracker name tag prints in white text only on dark leather — this is fixed by design and cannot be changed.

Color

• Screens display colors in RGB; printing uses a different color process. Printed colors may differ slightly from what you see on screen — especially very bright, neon, or highly saturated colors. This is normal and not a printing defect.
• High-contrast designs (dark colors on the white patch surface) produce the most vivid results.
• Dark or black background fills are not recommended. Designs with large dark background areas may show uneven coverage, visible texture, or slight color shift when printed, and the result will not be as clean as designs on a light background. For the best outcome, use a light or transparent background. Choosing a dark background is at your own discretion and is not considered a printing defect.
  
• Colors may also appear differently depending on your device's screen brightness and settings.

Transparent Backgrounds

• In PNG files, transparent areas will not be printed — the product's base material (e.g. the white PVC patch surface) will show through.
• If you want a full-color background, make sure your design fills the entire canvas.

Fine Details

• Very thin lines (under 0.5mm at print size), intricate patterns, and subtle gradients may lose definition when printed on textured materials.
• Simplify fine details for the best result.

Before You Confirm

Your order is printed exactly as shown in the design preview. Please double-check:

• Spelling and wording
• Design position and orientation
• That nothing important sits at the very edge of the printable area

We Reserve the Right Not to Print

OVERDESIGN reserves the right to refuse to print and cancel any order where the submitted design violates our Customization Service Terms & Disclaimer — including designs that infringe trademarks, copyrights, or personal rights, or contain unlawful or inappropriate content. Canceled orders of this kind will be refunded.

If your uploaded file is technically unprintable (e.g. severely below the minimum resolution or corrupted), we may contact you to provide a replacement file before production. If we cannot reach you within 【5】 business days, your order may be delayed or canceled with a refund.

Reminder: Customized Products Are Final Sale

All customized products are made to order and cannot be returned, exchanged, or refunded once your order is confirmed. This includes results affected by low image resolution, screen-to-print color differences, dark background choices, or errors in the text or design you submitted. Only genuine printing defects (a print that differs from your approved preview, significant misalignment, missing print areas, or print peeling on arrival) are eligible for a free reprint or refund — see our Customization Service Terms & Disclaimer for details.
